  1. Great episode guys! Couple of points on the reload:

You’re right about there being no savings in movement. I started trying to learn the “classic” reload but quickly got annoyed by the cylinder closing slightly on my thumb and the hot forcing cone burning me during a big practice. I also started in Limited with glocks, so I came to revolver with the belief that keeping the gun high was of value.

I do tilt the gun as much as possible in the half second of the ejection, both back for ejection and forward for insertion. The more the better, but speed is the thing, and speed comes first from having nothing go wrong.

    • “but quickly got annoyed by the cylinder closing slightly on my thumb and the hot forcing cone burning me during a big practice”

Ain’t it the truth! That’s another reason to practice only via dry fire . . . I did say, “If you want to see someone who knows what they’re doing . . .” when referring viewers to your videos! I’m going to work on “your” reload, and roll it out next Winter when it is again revolver time.
Thanks for watching, and keeping us honest.
      Rick
